I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for all of the wonderful comments in response to my post about My First Job!
For me, being “hired” to bake was a big deal and I hope it’s the first footprint on the road to a little baking enterprise for the Cream Puff.
Your support, your guidance and all of your incredibly useful tips have been taken to heart! I’m sending all of you the biggest, puffiest, creamiest cream puff as a thank you.
Ciao!

Just read the post now…congratulations! You definitely deserve it
Your talents have loads of us drooling at our laptop screens everyday
This is such an exciting time…savor it and enjoy it! Good luck on your new plans. You know I would be a customer if only I was over there

You’re sending yourself? Ok, better fluff the pillows on the spare bed, and stock the larder for any culinary adventures

Puff — this is such an exciting time for you. Can’t believe you were in Ft. Myers. I have a place just north of there!
I can visualize your card….definitely! I’ll e-mail your some crazy thoughts.

DO IT, DO IT, DO IT!
I’ve been reading your post (linked originally from hungry in hogtown) for over a year. It’s the first page I check in the morning (after epicurious) and I was really concerned when you hadn’t posted for a while. I am so happy to hear there weren’t any tragedies in reality & you’ve been busy baking.
Your posts are THE BEST and we would all do our best to support your latest endeavour.

I’ve been away and have just discovered the new site. It looks great. I love the cupcakes and good luck with your desires to turn your baking into a business.

I just went through your flikr slideshow. Have I died and gone to heaven? If the baking thing doesn’t work out, you could definitely have a career in food photography! Scrumptious! FYI- A cheap/free source of business cards is vistaprint.com. That way you could put together something quick and cheap without investing a lot of time or $ – just to tide you over till you hit the big time!

Ivonne,
You’re incredibly talented as a cook, as a food photographer and as a writer. There has to be a paid profession that will incorporate your talents and dream out there! You also seem to think of all the right questions about a venture, hence, good organization.
Keep nurturing the right contacts and you may open up an opportunity!
