… in a sea of blueberries!
And I can’t imagine a better place to be.
I’m off to Montreal for a few days but I leave you with this incredible blueberry tart. I hope it helps get you through the weekend.
Naturally, it’s from Lori Longbotham’s must-have cookbook: Luscious Berry Desserts.
Bon weekend!
Ciao!

What a stunning tart. Utterly inspirational. And our blueberries are at their absolute best right now - they put the blueberries we get the rest of the year to shame!
Hope you’re having a wonderful time in Montreal. It’s such a beautiful city!
07/15/07 at 1:05 pm
Ohhh, have a lovley time in Montreal!
Your blueberry tart looks fabulous…our blueberries here in Georgia are so sweet and perfect right now. They really are hard to resist when they are at their best.
07/15/07 at 7:35 pm
Oooh, lov ely! I think I just found my next cookbook purchase. I didn’t like fruit pies, tarts, etc. as a kid — something about the texture, I think — but I’ve grown to really love them.
07/16/07 at 7:20 am
This is truly a gorgeous looking blueberry tart. I have two pints of blueberries in my fridge that will work perfectly. Have a great time in Montreal. Bon voyage.
07/16/07 at 7:45 am
Blueberries are so tasty right now, we just got some from the market and they are delicious. I will have to try them in a tart.

Gorgeous blueberry tart Ivonne!
This reminds me of a sorority event where we had to answer the question “If you could swim in a bath of anything, what would you pick?” I think I said whipped cream at the time but now I would say blueberries!
07/17/07 at 4:14 pm
My goodness what a lovely tart. My husband’s favorite, so now I’ve absolutely got to try this. And blueberries are on sale!
07/17/07 at 5:50 pm
Hi Ivonne,
I have been blissed out on fresh blueberries in the last couple of weeks. They are my favorite fruit. I just got a new tart pan, so i want to try some new recipes, but I can’t bring myself to do anything with summer fruit besides eat it raw!

Hi Ivonne,
Your blueberry tart looks absolutely wonderful. I hope you have a wonderful time in Montreal. Please do me a favour and eat at Le Club Chasse et Peche, if you do, I’m sure you will not regret it. Have a great summer!
07/18/07 at 6:13 am
Have fun in Montreal , Ivonne!
07/18/07 at 7:45 am
Hi there,
Jumped onto your blog through the foodieblogroll. I am just blown over by your recipes. Great going.
07/19/07 at 2:09 am
That’s a stunning blueberry tart, Ivonne! Your post on Gale Gand’s Chocolate and Vanilla made me go buy the book. I made ‘Mary’s Butterballs and put up a post on it yesterday. It’s beautiful, looks and taste wise but I encountered a problem- I couldn’t get the butter-sugar and flour mixture to form a dough eventhough I mixed it for about half an hour. I fixed the problem in the end, but did you have this problem? Besides this slight glitch, everything went well. Thanks Ivonne! Hope you have lots of R&R in Montreal!
07/20/07 at 6:19 am
Hope you had a blast in Montréal !

GORGEOUS tart. I’m heading to the south Jersey shore tomorrow morning–where the blueberries should be at their luscious best.
07/22/07 at 12:34 pm
Picked wild blueberries Friday morning from my parents farm and have already made 2 of these tarts! Perfection on a plate!
08/4/07 at 6:48 pm
Gorgeous picture!! I try to eat as many blueberries as I can manage - love them!
