Beautiful cake! I cut out that New York Times recipe and have been meaning to make it, but everytime I pull out the recipe it just seems like too much work without knowing if the result would be worth it. Now I know it is! Thanks for reprising this recipe for Best of 2007!

I too, need to try my hand at this cake. I haven’t ever made a crepe, nor, even eaten one before.
It looks so very delicious! And, I thought so in June, too. Or, was it July?

You forgot one very seducing post that involved chocolate cake and no Mr. Tartelette…eheheheh!!! I have a slight favoritism for that one but that fabulous crepe cake is close second. Great choice! And miracle of miracles….you have inspired me to clean my picture folders, thank you!

Thanks for the review of the year…your posts are inspirational and fun. Got my fridge totally cleaned out today…guess the cleanup impulse comes with the pending New Year. Have gotten about 1/3 of my photos organized, but hope to eventually do what you did and put good ones on CD & deep six the rest.You’ve given me another inspiration
