Wow. Feels like forever since I posted! I have to apologize for my absence but I am in the middle of a big work project and by the time I get home at night there’s not much left in the tank for blogging (or baking).
Just wanted to drop you a note to say that tomorrow’s edition of Magazine Mondays is being hosted by Lynn of I’ll Have What She’s Having. For those of you that have already sent me MM entries, I’ve passed them along to Lynn. For those of you that want to send along a link, there’s still time!
Send along your link and I’ll forward it to Lynn!
Even though it’s Sunday, I’m sharing my own MM submission. This is a Peanut, Caramel, and Chocolate Tart from the October 2010 issue of Martha Stewart Living. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to make it and it was every bit as good as it sounds. I made it for the Thanksgiving potluck that we had at work in October. The picture isn’t great but believe me when I say it was delicious!
Thanks to Lynn for hosting MM and I hope you all have a great week!
Ciao!

That looks mouthwatering! I kind of want to act like a 3 year and just scoop up the caramel with my finger!

You almost made me stop my resolve to start Weight Watches today and wait until tomorrow (after I baked that luscious tart). That is the epitomy of temptation.

I keep forgetting to email my MM links –
Your dessert looks amazing!

I love the second image you’ve presented. At first I thought that it’s a cake. Then when I read your article, I realized that it’s peanut, caramel, and chocolate tart. Perfect combination! Really a tasty treat especially for kids. Will probably try this recipe on my sister’s birthday.

Went into the kitchen after viewing this post and started violently whipping a towel, against my worktable. Someone asked…”why is Pen doing this?” A voice rang out… clear as a bell… “Oh, she does that every time Cream Puffs In Venice posts… she’ll be ok in a few minutes.” hahahahah they know me sooooooooooo well. Stand clear! I’m gonna make this and EAT IT TOO!

Oh wow, that tart looks YUMMY. That Martha Stewart sure has it all figured out…

This looks fabulous. I’d probably go for substituting pecans. I heart pecans, almonds, macadamias and cashews. I’m very picky about peanuts. Maybe it just has to be enrobed in chocolate to get me tempt me.

If I could bite into my computer screen right now, I would.

Ivonne, this tart looks incredible – I’ve definitely bookmarked this one as a must try. Hope you will soon be over your busy work time and back in the kitchen.

I just saw this recipe in MSL (talk about being slow on the uptake!) and thought whoa. Your photo only magnifies that feeling. I’m thinking little tarts would be fun but I’m trying to decide whether it’s right for Turkey Day. YUM.
