I also love cookies. I believe they are the perfect dessert; they freeze well, so you can always have something on hand on short notice and while some people thin a slice of cake or pie is “too much” , they will never say to no to a cookie. Perfection. Love this recipe, I think it is the same as the King Arthur Flour recipe. I like when it has a little bit of chew to it. Great post

Oh, I totally understand the pile of magazines and all the clipped recipes. Until I grab every recipe I want to keep, the magazines get stacked. I should cut them out the first time I go through them. Your cookies look so good! Can’t wait to try them but first I will go on a hunt for lemon oil–I’ve never heard of it before.

I think “the perfect sugar cookie” is my favorite cookie (but I have lots more tasting left in me before I decide). But these beckon.

I have never been a big fan of sugar cookies. I think because they are just blah compared to others loaded with chocolate, nuts, etc. However, I think I should try this recipe- at least to give the sugar cookie another chance!
